Wonderful place, this is a beautiful building architecturally and it has historical significance (first public lending library in the US). I was lucky to have lived close by and visited a few times, I loved the layout inside before they did the renovations. I was very excited to learn that they are part of a network that has ebooks and audio books that you can access through an app on your phone. When I asked for old photos of the building from past years the young lady at the desk wasn't aware of any but said that would be something nice to see, and I agreed.

The most beautiful library I’ve ever been in. I am an old-fashioned, classy, vintage type of woman so being inside the lounging area with the mythological-looking paintings really made me feel happy inside. It’s my thing. I never borrowed books or anything there before...I simply went just for its peace, quiet, & historical beauty. Heh, heh.
This library seems to have ton of resources. A wide selection of books! They also offer CDs, DVDs, blue ray, and books on CD. They have several computers for use and even a reference librarian to help with research. All of the librarians area friendly and helpful. The space is also clean. My only complaint is that I wish they were open just a little more. Especially on Sundays.
