Leiper's Fork Distillery is located in Franklin, United States on 3381 Southall Rd. Leiper's Fork Distillery is rated 4.9 out of 5 in the category distillery in United States. It is our aim for Leiper's Fork Distillery to bring back the history and heritage of small batch whiskey production to Williamson County. The distillery will craft premium spirits using mainly local ingredients and limestone filtered water to create superior spirits with a signature taste. We are excited and honored about the prospect of bringing back a lost art and industry to a county that has always put its history and heritage at the forefront.

We visited Leapers Fork Distillery while visiting family for Thanksgiving week. It’s a beautiful property with charming and festively decorated log cabin style buildings. The staff and family are so kind and accommodating. Pops, our guide was friendly and full of charisma. My husband is an avid whiskey drinker and loved their stuff, while I am not a huge whiskey fan, I too enjoyed the tasting. We have already recommended this spot to a few friends visiting TN, who also loved it! We highly recommend a stop if you’re visiting or live in the area.

We first saw this place onTennessee Crosswords. Took the tour with Pop. He is a personable and a knowledgeable person when it comes how whiskey and rye is made and he may even tell you a ghost story. Tasted and took home a couple of bottles to boot. There are many distilleries in Tennessee and this one is worth the visit.

You might ask why we (9 couples) would travel here (40 short minutes from Nashville) when there are other choices. Well, folks, it's a beautiful drive, the distillery is amazing, the whiskey is like nothing else you have tried, everyone needs a lesson on how to taste, sniff, and blow, right? (ya gotta go to find out precisely what that means!) It's a destination for sure and sometimes you just need to travel outside of Broadway! Honestly, it was an experience that we will talk about for years! Thank you, Pop, Whiskey Jesus, and all of the staff for making our tour so incredible! Cheers to you all! May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. And rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

Great place to bring visitors from out of town. The tour was informative but not too long. The tasting room was fun and the distillery itself is a unique log cabin sitting on a beautiful property. They have outdoor yard games you can play while waiting for the tour and a cool shop to buy merchandise. We’ve been here multiple times and everyone we take really enjoys the tour and staff. Oh and great whiskey!

I will definitely be back for a tour. Just stopped by for a small gift. The staff was super friendly and helpful. P.S. The cats were rather friendly in my experience. Noticed a review that didn't have a positive encounter with one of the two cats. :)
