The loss of a loved one leaves you searching; an experience you neither asked for or planned for has taken over. Brian gently led me through the process and coached me on what to expect in the days ahead. But what meant the most to me was when Brian and Mike came to collect my husbands body, Mike said the most beautiful prayer over him. His prayer brought me such peace and comfort. That moment will be with me forever. I’m so glad I chose Macon Funeral Home. Thank you to Cassidy and Tim for all their help as well.

Macon Funeral home provided an excellent service prior, during, and after the service of my late husband Pip Williams. Duane and the team showed my late husband, kids, family and myself the utmost respect and caring during our difficult time. They were very patient and understanding during the planning process. Gave us as much time needed saying our final goodbyes to my husband. They handled everything with great detail and assisted on the many afterthoughts that wouldn’t be considered. They ensured my husband received his burial flag for serving in the USN and his possible entitlements. As stated they were exceptional on all areas. The entire staff was a pleasure to deal with during this difficult time. My family would highly recommend them for any families going through this process. We are forever grateful for the professional yet family atmosphere provided.
Macon Funeral Home met more than my expectations. They are all very caring and compassionate people (from front desk on up). Brain is an angel. I will always remember his acts of kindness. The loss of my husband (after 57 years of marriage) was the hardest thing I had ever had to face.
Brian and all the staff at Macon Funeral Home were kind, caring, professional and excellent to work with. Handling arrangements for a funeral and all that goes along with it was completely new to me and Brian helped navigate the entire process and also gave great insight for what to expect and what needed to be done in the days to come. They helped immensely during those very difficult days and I would highly recommend them.
