DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. We've been coming to Folly for years and this was our first time renting with Fred Holland and will be our last. First, we rented the property at 314 W Hudson. When booking, I asked the staff member if the fireplaces worked, as it was the week after Christmas and cold. I was assured they did, only to arrive at the property to see signs above the fireplaces clearly stating that the fireplaces were inoperable. Second, I never received a rental agreement for our booking. Not even when I asked for one during our stay. Finally, we left two expensive and beloved Patagonia jackets in the home after leaving. I called and spoke with Patrick TWICE, who, both times, assured me he would go over that day to the property and check. Having not heard back from Patrick either time, I called and left a message. No response. I finally got ahold of another staff member a few days later, who did not go over to check the property because it was occupied, but presumably called the cleaning staff who said they didn't find anything. I do not believe this for a second, as we are positive we left them hanging on the hook behind the door. I'm sure someone from Fred Holland is running around Folly Beach in our jackets. I won't even comment on the home we rented. This company is horrible. Avoid renting from them at all cost!

Absolutely horrible!! The original house we rented is without power and they called us at 9pm to move to a different house. Both houses were not cleaned very well and had moldy coffee stilling the coffee pot. The second house had cockroaches as well. The customer service is definitely not southern hospitality. They also do not up keep their rental properties as they should. Not properly clean; very dusty mold, dirty walls and floors. Disgusting!
We rented a beach house from Fred Holland Realty from September 16th to the 21st and it was fantastic. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The staff with Fred Holland Realty was all excellent to deal with and very responsive. We had absolutely no issues with the house or them. We will definitely rent from them again!!
Fred Holland Realty has a professional staff and extremely clean homes. This is especially a plus during this pandemic. We feel like home here and will certainly return!
