You will always have fun taking dance lessons with friendly and professional teachers. The students will make you feel welcome too. You will feel reinvigorated and refreshed after every lesson and practice. The owner has created an amiable environment. It is a pretty dance studio, sparkling clean, well appointed and plenty of parking space. I feel refreshed every time I dance in Frederick Fred Astaire dance studio.

We came to Fred Astaire for wedding dance lessons to a simple song. Neither one of us had any ballroom dance experience - the groom only moshed during concerts and the bride had mastered the Macarena and Cha Cha slide and danced the Sugar Plum Fairy back in Kindergarten. We showed up and within our first lesson we had a basic fox trot and swing down. While working with David for private lessons and the rest of the crew for some occasional group classes, we were able to nail our first dance that incorporated tons of turns, spins, and even a dip at the end! We had all our guests on their feet at the end! Learning the moves was frustrating at times, but with David’s persistence and convincing us to even practice at home - we came a long way! The staff is super flexible and definitely professionals in the art. The studio is inviting and clean and they have the friendliest patrons! They teach us not only moves for our dance but how to carry those dances for other songs. On our wedding day we were able to dance along at the reception - the groom showed off how to lead and made the night of his sisters, aunts and close family friends by being able to turn them with them having no prior dance experience! We will definitely be back to learn some other dances!

My fiance and I received swing dance and ballroom dance lessons for our wedding here and absolutely loved the experience! David was amazing and got us on the fast-track to learn in 5 weeks. Had a blast! Highly recommended

The studio is on the end of the building with a lot of windows and natural light. There is a large and separate smaller dance space with reception area. Large selection of dance shoes for sale. Impressively talented and extremely patient instructors. Plenty of parking and easy access from route 85 near 270!

My fiancée convinced me to take dance lessons here. I was terrified and I had zero experience or confidence dancing. One lesson (and a few margaritas) later, I was hooked. Everyone here is incredibly professional and talented. Not only can they teach someone like me with absolutely no clue, they also have advanced programs for experienced dancers. Private lessons, group classes, couples classes, there have even been online classes during the pandemic. I have spent time with each of the employees here as well as the owner and I can say you won’t meet a more wonderful group of people. 10/10 would recommend!!!!
