Excellent service with safe, clean rooms. Dr. Mowery spent a lot of time with me and I do appreciate that. Everyone was very efficient and kind. Thank you.

Doctor barely said 2 words to me. Nobody called with test results, I had to call them to let them know results were in a week ago. Couldn't even stand up after colonostemy and nurse told me we had to go. She was texting while I was trying to hold on to the rails in elevator. Wife said I was wondering around the parking lot. Person responsible for scheduling had no concern for me, only concerned I was showing up for the appointment. I still have know idea why I had a colonostemy.

I've had a very different experience with FGA than some of the other patients that have posted reviews here. I'm not disputing their reviews but I want to post my experience with FGA. I see Dr. Liss at FGA and I have fairly rare chronic condition. Dr. Liss has been treating me for over 10 years and and he's very thorough. He has also referred me to other Doctors outside of the FGA practice for 2nd opinions. This included visits with a Doctor at Johns Hopkins for a 2nd opinion and I had an exam at the JHU hospital. More recently Dr. Liss suggested I visit Penn State Medical Center in Hershey PA, they specialize in the condition I have. I've been up there a couple of times and I will go through an exam there this summer but my primary GI will continue to be Dr. Liss. None of the practices I have visited have a magic cure for my condition but I really appreciate it that Dr. Liss has encouraged me to seek outside help. I'm also aware that the Doctors at Penn State visited FGA to discuss their IBD research with the FGA staff, this practice clearly strives to keep up with the latest advances in GI and Dr. Liss has clearly demonstrated this by recommending I talk to other specialists. I don't want to forget to mention the Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and administrative staff at FGA, they have always been professional. The NPs and PAs call you back when you leave message and they're thorough in getting details on the issues you're having. It is a very busy office but they do care about their patients. -M

I had a very similar experience to madesyn harrington. I was in pain and they wanted to make me wait 3 weeks while I was in pain, all because I had other services done at other facilities. They said if I had done these services there they would have got me in sooner. They dont seem to care if you are in pain and dont seem to have any reasonable ability to service someone in urgent need.
