I can honestly say that I have been given more mobility and range of motion in my shoulders. This is a huge blessing since I am a long arm quilter. My breath is stronger and deeper and I feel amazing every time I leave the mat. I love the virtual option. It has been a huge blessing in 2020.

Be warned, this is not your typical studio. Kimberlyn Cahill is one of a kind. Over several years of practicing yoga & meditation, as well as attending workshops & personal coaching with Kimberlyn, I've gained quite a bit of clarity, soaked up sea containers full of knowledge, lost a few pounds, and find myself to be, well... just a better human being. Class sizes are small, which ensures personal attention and plenty of space to stretch out. If you're seeking hot power yoga or fast-paced vinyasa, this may not be the place for you. No worries, there are plenty of studios in Frederick for that type of practice. With Kimberlyn & Life's Work Yoga, it's more about connecting breath with movement, learning how to quiet your mind, gaining a better understanding of how your body moves, and how to recognize and correct imbalance. It's true self-care, and you deserve it. Most importantly, if you're concerned about age, gender, fitness level, flexibility (or lack thereof), or any similar nonsensical negativity, please let it go & give it a chance. If you can breathe, you can practice yoga, it doesn't matter if this happens in a chair, on the floor, or in your mind. I sure hope to see you on the mat soon. #itsallyoga #safespace #beginagain

I am not sure where to begin on how much Kimberlyn has been able to help me. I have SI joint issues that makes it hard for me to stand up or walk. I have been to an orthopedic, chiropractor and pain management and they weren’t able to help alleviate the pain . A monthly visit with Kimberlyn helps me manage the pain and I am hoping to be back to normal soon. She listens to you and makes you feel extremely comfortable. She has an amazing understanding of the body and how to manipulate it the alleviate the pain . It can get real up close and personal and you don’t feel the least bit embarrassed. She has a way about her that is truly a gift . I would recommend her to anyone . If you are having pain in your back, joints or shoulders she will find the cause of it . Don’t waste your time going to medical doctors , make an appointment with Kimberlyn. On a side note , I have also taken her yoga classes and she excels in them as well. I feel so grateful that our paths crossed as I don’t know where I would be without her .

I have been following Kimberlyn for several years. She has such a passion for helping people grow into their highest potential. She is always pointing out ways I can think bigger and deeper. She asks the BEST questions. I always feel supported and safe in her presence! Whether it’s yoga, meditation or book club, she always points me toward the Light that resides in me. Her saying, “It’s all yoga” is so true!

Kimberlyn has true gifts. She intuitively seems to know what my body needs. I cannot say enough good things about her care and her professionalism. How fortunate I am to have Kimberlyn in my life.
