This shop is such a GEM!!! The owners, Cathy and Heather, are not only delightful but also very knowledgeable. I truly LOVE finding special yard, from this special shop, for my special projects!!! Give them a visit, you'll fall in love as well!

Since CoVid-19 business practices have been forced to change for the safety of everyone. This is one of my local yarn stores. Great selection of yarns! This place used to be quite busy, now I was the only customer the store. It was actually quite nice. I felt I had more time to talk with the owner and discuss in detail my knitting project and best yarn selection. I did call ahead of time to schedule an appointment to come in. No spontaneous drop ins allowed. The owner was very accommodating. If you can't make it there, apparently they have a great online business

While visiting Frederick from out of town, I was delighted to have a chance to shop at The Knot House. I was greeted as I entered and helped by Charissa. She was attentive and looked up projects for me when needed but also gave me time to look on my own. She was very helpful without being pushy. The store has a fabulous selection of yarn (many brands that are not carried in my home town). I am only sorry that it isn't closer to me!
