Despite this community being small, the community makes up for it in its diversity and vibrancy. There’s almost always an event planned here. This is a very welcoming place for anyone who is Jewish or interested in learning more about Judaism to visit. The congregants make an effort to speak with every person possible, so if you’re a person that’s never been before, be prepared to have some amazing conversations with some very nice people!

This is the only Jewish worship facility in the Fredericksburg area. I live in Locust Grove, Orange County, VA, so I do not attend very often, but was helped to feel welcome by the congregation's president and a few others.
My daughter is a UMW freshman from NJ and very stressed on where to spend Yom Kippur. The staff and congression where very helpful in arranging for a ride very last minute to services where they made her feel so welcome she was there for all services for 11 hours on Yom Kippur.

Wonderful shul. Everyone I spoke to was kind and welcoming and made me feel immediately at home. The services are beautiful and their weekly Torah study is very educational and entertaining!
