FAAR is not agent friendly whatsoever. We have memberships to PWAR, FAAR and GPAR. FAAR is the only board that price gouges us over everything. They even charge to transfer our current PAID membership to a new broker. Unreal. When I told them that 3 of my agents were going to leave FAAR and switch to PWAR, FAAR told me that none of their 2016 dues would be refunded. It's only February and you won't even consider refunding any of their dues!? I'm baffled that they are allowed to treat their members this way. This is why I switched to PWAR many years ago and will never go back! Let's not forget the whole Sentrilock conversion that happened in 2008 when FAAR was the ONLY BOARD in Northern Virginia that refused to switch to Sentrilock. Finally in 2016 they have decided to come around and comply with the rest of the area by using Sentrilock lockboxes. I'm very disappointed with this board and every encounter I've had with them.
