Personally, I dislike this gym. for the following reasons... 1.) I pay about 59.00 a month for a gym that does the bare minimum. I could (and do) pay the same at Gold's Gym (which I switched to shortly after) and have access to quality equipment and other fitness classes with out extra charge. 2.) Sports and Health employee's helped me out one time, which was when I signed my contract. The gym I'm at now, the staff are all friendly and KNOW what they're doing. Also always happy to help out. 3.) Sports and Health isn't known for their sanitation for sure! And supposedly the money I pay extra ("Dues") are for the gym to acquire new equipment and upgrades, which I'm not sure if they have or haven't added anything to the gym since I haven't been back in about a month or so. But the gym I'm at now just added an entire new addition to the building, actually expanding the structure itself, with all new equipment. bottom line, for the price, go to a quality gym. Such as Golds or American family fitness. You'll be 100x happier and get your moneys worth in quality, services and sanitation.

Not only is this gym great, but what sets it apart from the other gyms around this area is the friendly and accommodating staff. The new renovations have definitely improved the club and the housekeeping staff is amazing. It's always clean and inviting. The gym is never too crowded and has a great atmosphere. I definitely recommend joining this gym. You don't just find fitness, you find friends.
This gym has a fabulous atmosphere. The front desk always has a smile on their face as soon as you enter the gym. The overall staff is fantastic. I am pleased with coming to this gym. The equipment is available when you need it, you don't have to wait to use it. Everyone at this location makes you feel like you are at home.
Great gym that has a good flow. Obviously someone with bodybuilding experience arranged the equipment. The equipment is worn but works. Good atmosphere with lots of natural light, lots of parking, not too crowded and you don't have to commute half way across the gym or wait to get your workout . The classes are excellent - great instructors. Pool, daycare and wet or dry steam rooms are great! They also have a welcoming and engaged staff!! 5 stars!
Great gym! It is a good environment and I was greeted by a handsome salesman named Christian Bailey. He showed me around, gave me good prices , and even helped me out with the equipment and showed me how it works while he was showing me around! Very friendly with my kids and made them feel as if they were at Disney World. If going to the gym I highly recommend Christian Bailey to start your experience!
As soon as you walk in the doors you are welcomed! It's always clean in the club, and the upgrade to the group exercise room and women's bathrooms are GREAT!! A nice variety of classes and great instructors and trainers to assist you in all areas!
If you want to work out in a clean and safe environment with encouraging and well-trained staff, Sport&Health Fredericksburg is the gym for you. With renovations completed last year, the facility has a fresh, new vibe. And they really listen to their members--taking to heart any feedback about the services and/or class lineup.
I've had so many problems with customer serve online. My bill is inflated at times. When I question it, they tell me it was in error and then they fix it. Good thing I called. All of the equipment is outdated. Free weights are good, but other equipment needs serious updating. Staff is pleasant, but place needs deep cleaning. From bathrooms to equipment in general. Not well maintained at all. There has been talk of closing this gym down for quite some time. I realize why they don't want to put money into it.
