I have had therapists over the years with much success and am a positive person that has succeeded in my therapies. I would not be concerned if one thing had occurred, but multiple things occurred over time. My partner needed therapy. He emailed and got no reply. He made several phone calls and got no return call. Mind you our counselor suggested Lighthouse so we considered it reputable. My partner called again. He finally got a call back and did an intake that included all his personal information including billing. He was told that 'if' there was a therapist available they would call back (?) Not, we will get back to you regardless with an update (?) Well, he finally got a session scheduled. He waited by his phone for 30 minutes and got not NO call. There are very few reviews about this organization here. I hope my sharing this experience as a pretty balanced person is helpful. I would suggest that you reach out elsewhere - especially if you have PTSD or serious issues and you thought you would start in a safe way. Always take care of yourself. If you feel in danger - reach out to friends, family, your faith, a therapist - and be honest - you are worth your life. Call 911 if you need to. I've lost friends. Your friends and family and the world deserve you. Hugs to all.

I was referred to Lighthouse Counseling from a couple therapist I have been seeing. When calling I am prompted to select a number to be connected to the right person, and every time I do the phone goes silent and then drops. After multiple attempts I finally got connected and set up an appointment. Today was that Tele-Appointment. I waited a half hour for the therapist to call and she did not, after an hour passed I tried to call the number once more and guess what? Yup, after pressing the number to be connected the call would drop again. I tried 17 times and with each press on the button the call would drop. So to sum it up, my appointment was a no show and I couldn't even get connected with someone to find out why. The only reason why I am doing this is with hope that someone from that place will see it and call me. BTW there is no email address on their website, so I can't even send them an email.

I had an assessment through lighthouse therapy and was very pleased with how it was handled. Janine Rumberger was amazing. She showed she really cares about your well being and answered any and all questions I had. I left there knowing a lot more than when I came in and didn't leave me guessing. Very satisfied.

The groups and the therapists (even if at first believe they aren't worth your time) are absolutely amazing!!! Katie Fields is the best therapist i have ever had. Katie and Kylie facilitate the DBT groups and without the DBT skills i learned i would have never been able to stay sober (after years of constant relapse). I also was in Danielle's Thursday night S.A. group was also extremely helpful in my journey in sobriety. Every therapist has different approaches, but every single one of them will never give-up on you even when you want to give-up on yourself. Long story short i LOVE Lighthouse Counseling and would recommend it to anyone!!!
