Freedom H & C responded quickly to our call for assistance. The technicians from Freedom and their plumbing contractor were extremely knowledgeable, efficient and friendly in the diagnosis of the problems, the installation of a new hot water heater and the successful resolution of our sink drainage issue. We have used Freedom for several years for our heating and cooling systems, have an Annual Maintenance Agreement and have always been very pleased with their service. They have competitive pricing & very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly technicians. We highly recommend their service.

The reason there are so many good reviews is because the techs ask customers to leave a good review and mention their name so they don't get fired later in the season. AC got struck by lightning in the evening in the middle of July. I called Freedom because they claim to be 24/7 service. I had to wait until the next day. A service rep came out and said the compressor went out and suggested I just get a whole new unit which meant getting the furnace replaced inside as well. He didn't really mess around with trying to get a new compressor because he said it would be several thousand dollars. Two hours later the tech came out to replace everything. Eventually he asked if he could smoke because he had to wait on a part and help (they have a folder that says they wont use tobacco). I said he could. I found a couple of cig butts in my driveway by the way. I've come to notice also my brand new floors have a chip missing and a big scratch (the folder says they won't damage house or they are insured to fix any damage). One of the other techs also tried to sell me a surge protector for 250. I decided to take chances because lightning will probably not be stopped by joe blow's surge protector. Unit works well, just as well as the one they replaced. I felt like i got taken advantage of a bit because it was so hot and we had a new born, but that's how most businesses operate around this area. If you have the time or can stand the heat, it might be beneficial to shop around.

I have spent thousands of dollars with these guys in the past having a whole new HVAC system installed. This week, I had an issue with my thermostat no longer turning on the heat pump. Scheduled an appointment online, explained the issue, and got a message that someone would be in touch shortly. I didn't hear from anyone by hours into the following day so I contacted them to find out what was going on. I received a text back - \What was the appointment for?\ I explained again what it was for, that I had scheduled service online and asked if they maybe didn't get notified of the appointment. More hours go by. No response. I finally said just forget it. They don't need your business I guess. Not even worth their time to respond.
