Purchased a high end french press from this company and the very first cup produced a "muck" in the cup. I have used many french presses and have varied grind to a more coarse setting but with no success. I contacted the company via email and was told to contact the manufacturer for a new screen for my brand new, purchased from 1st Line french press. Is the really what customer care is all about? Guess if you spend more with them on other pieces of their equipment offerings you might receive a different experience, mine has not been pleasant to this point!!

I purchased an ACS Minima and a Eureka Specialita from 1st-Line. It's a great machine and the team there has been really helpful throughout the process. I got to speak to Jim and he gave me a lot of good advice on how to take care of the machine. I highly recommend 1st-line for purchasing espresso machines and any gear in general. I'll definitely be coming back to purchase!

This is my third purchase of an espresso machine, I had an Oscar simonelli for almost 10 years so this was quite an upgrade. Did a bunch of research to determine which machine was best for me. Read reviews on machines, home barista blogs, watch count less video reviews from whole latte of love, seattle coffee gear, and others. Thought I had it pretty much narrowed my selection down to couple, then stumbled onto a Java Jim, Lelit Bianca video. I was hesitant because I knew nothing about Lelit or this model, plus it was more then I had wanted to spend. I decide to wait a few months to investigate and see what kind of reviews came out about this machine. In the meantime I talked to Jim a couple times about what I wanted, he never pressured me to buy just answered my questions, talked about other machine possibilities, and of course talked about the Bianca. I was just couldn't pull the trigger on the Bianca at the time, The whole grate shipping requirements associated with the machine, kind of scared me too. Jim told me whenever I was ready just let them know, he'll set me up. When I heard the grate shipping issues had changed, I contacted Jim again and purchased the Bianca. I have had the machine for almost 10 months now and it has surpassed all my expectations. I would and have highly recommended this machine and 1st-line to friends interested in an espresso machine. They all laugh about the Java Jim videos but they also enjoy them too. Thanks 1st-line Equipment

I really can’t recommend 1st-line highly enough. They are absolute experts about every aspect of the machines they sell, down to the smallest wiring detail, part, and interface. Their professionalism, dedication to customer experience & satisfaction, and customer service are absolutely top tier. When I had an issue with a product from another merchant, Jim and his crew graciously helped me figure it out every step of the way. Don’t bother with another site, these folks are the best around.

Excellent costumer service. Jim helped me to successfully troubleshoot and resolve a pressure issue with my 6-month old VBM double boiler machine remotely through videos that showed the problem. I emailed Jim and got a reply on the same day (a Sunday). Careful descaling with Jim’s instructions solved the problem. I normally don't leave reviews online but this was really phenomenal customer service!
