Had a great session today. Launch is from a small very clean park. There are bathrooms, and it's a short walk from the parking lot to the launch. Guys are friendly a d helpful and kayaks are in very good condition. The bay is a great spot to kayak. Calm water and interesting things to check out. Will definitely use again

Great day kayaking in Freeport today with my sister. We went at 12 with high tide at 1:30 and some areas were a workout but nothing us older ladies (pushing 60) amateurs couldn't handle. They are so nice and accomodating. You can make appts during the week through their website. They respond pretty quickly. Thank you FKR - we'll be back! Tip - don't get too close to the grass, the horseflies find you. Glad we had bug spray with us.

This is the best place to have fun with the family and also go on a date. Kayak rentals owner made it easy and convenient to enjoy the outing my family and I wanted. He was polite and encouraging. Equiptment was clean and readily available at appoinment time. Would highly recommend

Went there with my boyfriend yesterday and had a great time on the water. Lots of fish, cute islands to explore, great views, and near a marina. It's a small one-man operation so I recommend booking ahead of time just to make sure they have kayaks for you. We went on a day that was supposed to rain and managed to get boats without booking but can't guarantee that for everyone. Also bring a hat, sunscreen, and prepare a place to store your stuff. Your phone and keys may be waterproof but they'll still sink if you capsize. Cost is very reasonable for 2 hrs. It was very hot when we went and the gentleman provided water free of charge which was a very nice touch. Would love to go again.

Had a great kayaking adventure this morning! We started at 9am and the tide was low and zero boat traffic. I was hesitant bc I read that it was a one man operation and wondered about customer service and quality... but once we got there it all faded. Top notch customer service and the kayaks, vests and paddles were in good shape. There are island with sand bars you can go to if your brave. Lots of birds to watch as they dive to get fish. Very peaceful and the water was calm enough that we didn’t struggle!! Definitely will return!!
