The staff and doctors are AMAZING. I am so thankful to have found this place. I knew my dog was in good care, they helped me find a GREAT place to perform my dogs surgery. They kept in contact with me and updated me overnight about my dog. My family and I really appreciate their service and all their help. Here's a picture of my dog after we picked him up from Pet ER. His fur was so shiny and he was happy. He was on his way to surgery:)

Super friendly staff and doctor. Brought my puppy in because he was vomiting and they treated him within a couple hours and even refunded some of my money back. Super compassionate and take very good care for your pet. Jasmine and Alana were both very helpful and sweet while we were stressing about our puppy. Definitely recommend going here.

Do not be fooled by their low-cost exam fee. INSIST on getting pricing on lab testing and procedures from them and any pet ER that you call to bring your animal in if you can afford the time. This felt like a hostage situation more than an emergency facility. Definitely not concerned with human emotional well-being, and by extension animal well-being. Wanted thousands of dollars in diagnostics alone, and were inappropriately descriptive of our cat's potential final outcome if we did not poney up the cash. They were absolutely adamant that we apply for several types of financing to cover the cost for diagnostics. Even after we still would be short on covering this cost. The doctor finally worked with us and agreed to do X-ray only, and we discovered the problem. They drew up another estimate for treatment that would now be 3000-4,000, and we took a few hours to discuss it. When the morning came, we painfully made the decision to Euthanize our beloved animal, but an absolute angel of a vet-tech that we had not spoken to during the previous shift informed the doctor what we were planning to do, and morning shift doctor offered that we could take her home with 2 types of antibiotics that should treat the underlying issue. In summary, this is a business only. They will emotionally devastate you to pay thousands of dollars in diagnostics costs. Final resolution: told them we couldn't afford it, said we had to Euthanize her, felt like we called their bluff, and they sent us home with 200 in antibiotics. Also, do not tell them how much money you have to spend on your animal when they ask, because they will ask several times. I do not doubt that they can perform excellent care for animals if you have the money, but the fact that they were unwilling to work with us in any way (until we made the decision to Euthanize her), makes me think that this place is not above extortion and emotional manipulation to make a quick buck on people who love their animals.

Sadly, I called this office stressed out (as anyone would be with a sick puppy). Shortly after I started to explain what was going on over the phone to the receptionist, she cut me off mid sentence and told me that it should be "obvious" if my pet is in need of being seen ASAP. Being I am a first time pet owner, I was unsure what the guidelines were in order to be able to be seen at an ER vet. I was hoping for some guidance and pretty much got rushed off the phone as quick as possible. I was also told (before I was rushed off the call), that this office was at capacity and couldn't see me anyways.

Last night we had to make that impossible decision for our boy and even with frustrating covid regulations and some confusion with the receptionist, we felt that the staff went out of their way to take the time to explain all diagnostic and treatment options, enabled us to make the hard choice of euthanizing, and then validated our decision over and over. The veterinarian was patient and informative but Chris was exceptionally kind. He communicated the process clearly and we never felt rushed when saying goodbye.

I couldn’t recommend this place enough. My cat is currently staying at this hospital until he gets surgery at UC Davis. The staff here calls me multiple times a day to keep me updated on how he’s doing (he has a horrible fractured hip and leg) and they are so so kind and quick. Thank you to all the kind staff. They really care for their patients and owners of the patients

I had to take my kitten to them on 12/26/2020. The staff were very friendly. I was not allowed in the building due to Covid-19. The vet tech called me with the cost of the diagnostic tests and it was going to be 775! I explained that I didn't have that kind of money - it was the day after Christmas after all. She asked me 3 times during the conversation, "Well, just how much can you afford to spend?" All this without giving me any breakdown of the cost of the tests. Thankfully, I'm an informed consumer, was able to get that breakdown, and requested basic tests which reduced the cost to 425. She then, before hanging up and none of the tests had been started, asked, "How much can you spend for treatment?" I was floored! I said, "How about we get a diagnosis before we start talking about the cost of treatment since we don't have any knowledge of what that may entail!" I felt like I was being spammed to see exactly how much they could get me to commit to paying without them having to justify the costs. They ended up giving him 2 shots and sent me home with anti-nausea pills for a total of 545.00. I came away with no clear diagnosis and I will NEVER take any of my pets there again.

I took my dog to this hospital since the vet told us they were concerned of his health. The women I spoke to on the phone were not only rude but extremely pushy in trying to get us to pay for as many bloodwork tests and x-rays as possible. I kept asking them to explain to me the "estimated" charges, they couldn't really explain with details. I was already frustrated with the staff and how absolutely rude they were. The doctor was really nice though. My dog had to stay the night and they did "many" tests and they still managed to charge us a lot and they still couldn’t come up with a proper answer with what actually was wrong with my dog. they recommended more blood work and more exams. It's so ridiculous. They only tell you false information but yet want to charge you an arm and a leg. I will not go back to his place at all!!! I do NOT recommend anyone take their pets here.
