Kelly & Izzy are fantastic. They're honest guys that do good work. They charge a fair price and you'll know it's done right. I've been there for everything from no A/C to weird brake problems, to having one of the heads on a new-to-me minivan rebuilt. I've never been quoted one price and then paid more - typically it's a little bit less. and they've called me and sent me on my way for free once because it was simply low brake fluid. As someone that's always bought used cars, I cannot stress how important it is to have a mechanic you can trust - and that's what Israel and Kelly are in spades.
I have used them for many years and have decided to change due to their archaic system with storing their information. Everything is written down on paper. My struts were replaced but they wrote down they replaced the rear ones but they actually replaced the front. Warranty was for 1 year but that was not communicated with me. If you don't have the paper slip then they don't validate the warranty. I decided to go to a place with computer system which stores information. Makes it easier and more efficient. Too many holes in their system.
Automotive ER really takes the time to do it right and at a fair price. These guys work on antique and custom cars for a living, they are very meticulous and extremely knowledgable in what they do. We have trusted Kelly with our cars for several years and have never been let down. AUTOMOTIVE ER is the go to shop for us!
I called in requesting a quote on the head gasket of my Ford edge he said they could do it but would have problems down the road and then gave me a set of other options. Kelly spent about 10 minutes with me telling me alternative options that would not benefit him in any way so I have to say this is one of the most professional shops I have ever experienced, I didn't know they still exist but they do.
