Hi I went to this farm about a few years ago and I had to leave due to all of the negative placed on me and my family. Example of this is when I was at an outdoor show I was riding in and my grandmother was sitting down while watching me ride. It was soon then she was told to move because she looked like she wasn't no to get up and run fast enough due to her weight. But the thing is that she was in an area where everyone else including my family was. Also not to mention the multiple occasions that they used my mental illness against me during my lessons and at show. Lastly they would yell at me when I only a minute or two late. Those some of the few things they have done to me and my family. I loved it there but at the same time they cared more about their riding team than the people who did it as a hobby.

I moved to MD from PA a little over a year ago and have found a home at Full Moon! They have something for every age and riding ability from horse suitability to all-level competitions. There is a team atmosphere here that I appreciated after loving collegiate riding. Safety is the number 1 priority here and it shows from how every staff member lends a hand with teaching students proper techniques to how the horses behave. I'm so happy to have found Full Moon and their unicorns!!
My daughter loves riding a Full Moon Farm. There are so many fun activities for kids and low key competitions to get them used to showing. All of the riding instructors are wonderful. I am hoping I can also start riding again soon!
Ever since i came to Full Moon, i have grown so much as a rider and gotten the change to ride many horse and make so many new friends!
I can’t say enough good things about Full Moon Farm! I’ve been riding for 13 years and the past 3 have been at Full Moon. They are the most safety conscious barn I have had lessons from. They “Woah” train all of the horses. Full Moon has a great riding program that is perfect for kids and adults of all levels. The instructors are all very professional and knowledgeable. They have a lot of great horses that are fantastic to ride. They even have larger horses for plus size riders like myself. It’s a fun place to be and you will make friends too! The makeup policy is flexible so that you aren’t just out your money but can ride in another lesson if you provide advance notice. They have an indoor ring so you can still ride in inclement weather. There are other barns closer to me, but the lesson program at Full Moon Farm is worth the drive.
