Fun weaving MTB trail for beginners and intermediate riders. Trail has a little of everything - flat trails, steep climbs, steep descents. Initial section and trail next to the pond have more foot traffic but the majority of the loop offers true single track. Be sure to carry a phone with Gps on it, there are no markings and you will either need to follow along on your phone or other riders to complete the loop

Once get used to how to follow the trail, it's a fun relaxing ride. The hardest part is to know where to go, because it weaves in out of neighborhoods. There are some fun offshoots for MTB if you keep your eyes open. There are also some small jumps that mixes things up too.
I ride and run regularly on the loop. It's getting very crowded since covid. Even at night. Most riders are courteous. Not all. Especially at night. The lights are up in your face. It's nice when the crowd isn't there
From a cycling perspective, it was a blast. This was my first time on this one. There was some really challenging ascents and descents so you will need to be in a bit better physical condition if you want to make the entire loop safely. Also, going by yourself may not be a great choice unless you're pretty good on a bike already and have some basic tools with you. I would not consider this a beginner trail. Your \average\ bike may not be the best option since you'll need some more aggressive tires, brakes and gears for some parts of the trail. But a decent hybrid or gravel bike will probably do. Mountain bikes are definitely the most popular kind out there. But once you're out there, there are all kinds of fun spots and interesting side trails to explore. There's even a couple tunnels and abandoned railroad tracks. GPS and the Alltrails app could be your best friends on this one since the signage is hit and miss. Just plan and be careful!!
Happy to see that the trail is still there bring back great memories when I was kid. Best stop to come if you want to get into mountain biking. Or if you want to go on walk with family.
