THE SIDES ARE AMAZING. Truffle fries are such a huge portion AND delicious, creamed corn is like drinking corn chowder in creamed corn form, the potato gratin side is also to die for. I highly recommend just getting either the cottage cut, summit cut, or the castle cut-- they are just perfectly tender, salty, and meaty. The difference between the three are just sizes (small to large). I would not recommend getting the USDA aged prime rib eye steak. It was tasty, but honestly it was not as flavorful as the roast prime ribs of beef. Also it was way more expensive D: My party was seated outside, and the city lights view was so nice! Definitely come here for a nice date or for a celebration.

We ordered all sizes of prime rib and ordered three sides: truffle fries, bone-marrow mac n cheese and brussel sprouts. We couldn't finish the sides so we had them boxed to take home. The meat was cooked to our liking. The sides were all delicious. The spinach was a bit salty. Other than that nothing to complain about.
Summit House is a great venue in the OC that probably not a lot of people know about. For special occasions this is a place we return to frequently, and we even got married here. Tucked on top of a hill at Bastanchury and St. College in Fullerton, this is an old fashioned steak house in immaculate condition with a sit down bar, inside and outside dining, and lush landscaping including walking paths. There are beautiful views to the south and east and a pleasant feeling of isolation from the busy city. The food is spectacular - prime rib, filet mignon, and plenty of chicken and fish dishes. People rave about the yorkshire pudding and creamed corn. We had the charcuterie tray as an appetizer, and have enjoyed French onion soup in the past. They have great specialty drinks too (lavendar lemon drop! ), and yummy desserts. We sat on the patio due to covid - if you go before 5 on a Sunday ask for a table out of the sun. Parking is limited - plan to use the valet. Prices are fair, but its a NICE steak house - our bill for an appetizer, two drinks, filet mignon and prime rib steaks was 150. Plus they brought us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary . Well worth it - you can't beat the service, atmosphere, and food quality. Just a lovely place for a nice meal.
This location is pretty hidden in the city of fullerton. It is up on the hill where you can see a city view if you are lucky enough to book a sit. The staff are super friendly and funny. I asked to take a picture and they kindly accepted to do it. The best thing at this place is the roast beef. I actually only come here for special occasions or oc restaurant week. The prime is cooked to medium rare with au jus sauce. The creamed spinach and creamed corn makes my mouth water every time. Overall this place is the best place to go if you are in the city of fullerton. I love a good prime rib and you have to trust me on this.
Came here for my little nephew's birthday. They check temperature and wear mask. Making sure everyone is safe. Windows and doors are open as well. Feel safe and welcoming. The food was great. One can order child size steak for the young ones. Their steak is very good. I like my median and it was cooked just how I stated. The side dishes where great as well. Love their corn...all you can eat corn...haha. sweet and salty. The waiters and waitress are very friendly. Wear mask and keep their distance and try not to make too much small talked. Just enough... hahaha. Overall, great experience and they also have a great view. It is on top of a hill as well.
