I took my 1 year old lawn tractor to the local Sloan Implement here in Fulton for an easy spring tune up...oil change, blade sharpening, grease, and blade leveling. As soon as I got the tractor back I had a new mechanical issue. The bottom of the steering column contacted a flywheel when the blades were engaged. I immediately took it back to Sloan and the technician releveled the blades. When he was done, it appeared to have sufficient clearance to operate properly but when I got home the problem reoccured. I now have a lawn tractor that cannot turn left. If you're thinking about having the professionals at Sloan make your spring chores easier, I would reconsider. Update: Within an hour of posting this review, I got a call from Sloan. The gentleman on the phone asked how they could make it right. I asked if he could pick up the mower and fix the issue on Monday (since it was Saturday.) He said that they would do that. I was very impressed! Monday they called to confirm and picked up the mower. All seemed to be well, but Monday evening came and went without an update. Tuesday no update. Wednesday morning, no update. So Wednesday afternoon I called to ask what was happening. The service department employee told me that they were waiting on a part and it could be done Thursday, but for sure by Friday. Thursday they called and said the part came on the afternoon delivery, so it wouldn't be ready until Friday. I was assured that someone would call me Friday to give me an update. No one had called me by Friday near closing time, so once again I called in to track down my mower. I was told that it wouldn't be ready until Saturday, no explanation given..... My grass is LONG!
Great place for John Deere parts. Don't waste your time going there for Stihl items they do not carry any! Cannot understand how they can be listed as a Stihl dealer but do not carry anything by Stihl??? Only an hour of driving wasted!!!
Great Experience with Sales staff! No Pressure Sales environment and they genuinely wanted to make sure my needs were met. Parts guy was quick with identifying the correct parts I needed also!
