Decent food. The beef was pretty good. Good service. Reasonable price. It was very hot the time we were there and there was a wait for the people who came later.

Food is good and the broths they offer are great, but the service is really slow. 30 minutes into being seated we only had one plate of meat and some small vegetables. The service picked up considerable after we complained, but by that time we already wanted to leave. It's unlimited shabu, but they cap the speed the meat comes out, like Verizon.
We came here on a whim. We ordered a hot pot set dinner for two, came with a choice of appetizer, order of each of our meat choice, and ice cream for desert. We also got fish cakes, veggies, and noodles. The broth was bland. I was hoping that the flavor would improve as we added more ingredients, but it didn't. They also have an option for all you can eat or an all you can eat and drink. I think think that's the way to go if you're really hungry, but we had plenty to eat with our sent dinner. Service is extremely slow and you have to flag people down. When we finally got our check, we were given the wrong check and took another 5 minutes to get someone's attention to bring us the right check.
Average hot pot place. Music being played could use some thought. Pretty inappropriate with the rap/swearing when a family with a child was eating there.
Service isn't very good. Even for small groups. The atmosphere is very mellow but not all that fun and inviting. Decent value and the beef was good. Overall Shabu House has better food and a more fun atmosphere. I would suggest that as one of the best shabu in the city. This one is better than Mums though ;-)
This is definitely the place that made me love Shabu! The ponzu sauce made everything so delicious and great! I wish they offered a combo plate of beef and pork though since I don't care too much for lamb.
This is a great place to take a date or some friends for shabu shabu. The portions are just right, the meat is great, the vegetables are fresh, the broth is warming, and it even comes with a little dessert. This is the perfect place on a cold and foggy San Francisco evening to warm you up.
I really like the Shabu Shabu here. Order the large beef portion, the small one is not enough. And I love the spicy miso. Their green tea ice cream tastes nice as well and is not too sweet.
