They have several apartment buildings very nice, Roxanne goes above and beyond offering Virtual Tours, Welcome Packets, quick resolve on any issues, maintained very well so you don't have issues! Locally owned, have a fleet of trucks and local employees to keep everything in good order! Make them your first call!

In my experience, G & R has been a great place to stay. This is my third year living in this apartment, and I have no complaints. The staff is very friendly and helpful, The apartments themselves are very up to date and clean. Since I have moved here I have been to many other apartments that my friends were/ are living in and I don't regret my decision to live here in the slightest. Anytime I did have an issue, with my dryer for example, it was fixed within two days. I haven't had a single issue with bugs and all my neighbors are friendly. I highly recommend G & R.
I 100% recommend renting from G & R Rentals. I have had no complaints with this facility. The location is close to campus, quiet, and clean. Maintenance is always there within a day, if not minutes from your call. The staff is very friendly and so helpful!
Best experience I've had in Carbondale (and I've been with three different housing complexes), the ability to speak with Jessica and the rest of the staff and are always quick to respond and fix any problems has made my experience great! Was a little concerned with living right on Grand Ave in regards to parking, but have not had any major issues. The rooms are the largest I've been in, the style is great, and all in a very affordable cost!
Staff are very nice and accommodating- great conditions and a nice place to live. Giving four stars because I got my bike stolen there (with a bike lock on) but that could have happened to anyone anywhere. Overall, a wonderful place to live.
Had plenty of friends lease from G&R over the years. Never heard anyone complain. Take care of their property like you should and they will take care of you!
WARNING!!! Run!!! Very terrible experience. One of the owners Greg thinks he is doing you a favor by renting his property to you . He is very rude (I’m being charitable here) Their staff take after the owner. They’re super rude, their maintenance culture is very poor. Their property is roach infested. They will invade your privacy. (They will come in and out without notices just because they have keys) If you are thinking of renting there due to the proximity to campus and it’s outside looks, then take a step back (Run! to be honest). Their maintenance culture and attitude of the staff and owner will send you packing back out. As for your security deposit... the least said about it, the better. If you’re lucky, you might get 10% back. DO NOT RENT THERE!!!
G&R rentals is a GREAT place to rent from in Carbondale, IL. It’s located close to SIU with bus stops to and from campus. The staff is wonderful there. They are always prompt to answer any needs you may have. Maintenance staff is exceptional! The apartments are absolutely beautiful! Well maintained and VERY CLEAN. The pricing they offer is very affordable. All around G&R rentals does their absolute best to strive to accommodate all tenants and their needs. Zero complaints about this company!
