My wife and I make laser engraved Christian products on wood and I have been looking somewhere local to buy wood in the state. Oddly enough this place is literally 12 minutes from my front door! From the first time we came by to buy just a few boards everyone was very nice and friendly and priced things fairly. The prices are also good as well as the quality. This is the ONLY place I buy wood from now! Great folks.

I went to CAG to have a table top milled flat. It only took half an hour or so, and for a very reasonable price, I’ve got the nicest table top I’ve ever made! I will absolutely be using their services many times in the coming years. I went to them specifically for milling purposes, but I didn’t realize the massive treasure trove of wood they have! I assume I found them at some point in my lumber yard research and then passed them up because I thought their prices were a bit prohibitive for my small furniture business. I typically go to Suwanee Lumber, and while I do love them, they definitely have a tendency to be short in supply with the boards I want, whether that be the proper size or quality of lumber. While you may be paying more per bf with CAG, you’re going to find exactly what you need due to their quality, variety, and sheer amount of lumber. While I have not purchased any lumber from them, they will be the first source for my next piece! It also helps that they’re a good 20 minutes closer to me...

Niki made our trip to CAG truly exceptional. I will say using Google made it a little confusing since the layout hasn't been updated by Google yet, so I included my version of the layout. In terms of wood, they have more than I could have asked for. As a new woodworker, a lumber yard can be intimidating but Niki was awesome at showing us around and giving us advice. The prices were good and the process was pleasant. Suwannee Lumber referred me here and I see why. Slabs on slabs on slabs! So many beautiful pieces and so much variety. We picked smaller pieces to start out on but we will be back for more!

Beautiful exotic wood ..gorgeous! unique mantels..and slabs..the walnut room is my favorite and the parota slabs are to die for!
