Hole in the wall jamaican spot with good food. A bit on the pricey side for the amount of food you get. Service was kind of indifferent, which honestly, is typical of Caribbean spots. Lol... Overall not a bad experience. Plus I like to frequent Family and black owned business.

1 star for the food that is ok sometimes. That is the only positive. I have not been to this place in almost a year and won't go back ever. It will be easier to list the reasons why. • This place is dirty and seems like it hasn't been cleaned in years. If the front of the place is that dirty, imagine the back. • roach crawling around the counter on my last visit • The lady has the worst attitude / customer service. No greeting and just stairs at you when you walk in and acts like she is bothered to have customers. • The food takes forever no matter what time of the day I went. • over priced for the portion. • For those that don't realize, the patties are frozen from a box. She does not make them. Only place in Gainesville to get fresh made patties is Caribbean Spice. Want frozen patties? Get them from Dollar Tree. AVOID THIS PLACE!
Soup Friday can't miss me. Get your soup every Friday go early because it sells quick. Mrs. Queen did a great job catering my sisters graduation.
Jamaican food and the setting at this location is super good. This place will surprise you. The bill won't break you.
Wish the oxtails was meater...mostly bones. Very flavorful. 15.99 for a large appeared more like a small...The rice had flavor but was crunchy. Would like someone to invest in this business because it could be great if the portions and Atmosphere was better...
