Lovely museum! My 5 year old loved the museum scavenger hunt. Our homeschool was also able to take part in the Suffragette exhibit and hear the guest speaker, \Lucy Stone\. She was absolutely amazing. Her speech was so beautifully spoken and she kept our children, ages ranging from 3-13, engaged the entire time! Thank you for a lovely experience!
The museum was really cool! A lot of neat things to look at
Very nice exhibits and staff. Learned a lot. Two bldgs on premises from 1830s. So cool to see the original beams. Info on native americans from this area was especially interesting. My son asked what the rotary dial on the switchboard phone was. Plan about 1 - 1.5 hrs to view all. Pay attention to specific hours and days they r open. Don't miss the exceptional war memorial garden outside. Parking is just past the bldg on same side of street. Other pkg in area is restricted by permit.
We attended a free Family Day Event showcasing the history of games. It was great! I homeschool my 13 and 15 yo boys and this was a great learning opportunity! Will definitely be returning
