This was my first time having Cambodian food and it was so delicious! The food was fresh and flavorful! I work downtown so I was able to walk to the location to pick up my order. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the order being in a recyclable container. I cannot wait to go back a try other dishes!

Amazing fresh Cambodian food - it's delicious and inexpensive! I had the Ba Bong which is a vermicelli noodle bowl with beef and vegetables and a homemade dressing, it also comes with a crispy egg roll. My friend had the beef lo lac which is stir fry beef with rice and a different but equally tasty homemade dressing. I highly recommend both dishes! Everything tasted homemade and comes with tips on how to enjoy it the best way. We placed an order for pickup; it was quick, clean and efficient. If you haven't been to this little gem, definitely try it (especially the egg rolls)!
Best chicken of my life! I'm serious, I got the Chicken Skewers a couple times and they never fail-- tender, juicy, flavorful. Never over-cooked or dry! I highly recommend this place. Friendly service and the owner seems like such a wonderful person! My brother ordered the Beef Skewers and had equally rave reviews. The house-made chili oil is bomb, if you like spice make sure you try it. Great egg rolls and the Mango Sticky Rice was excellent.
It was a delight to visit Prum’s Kitchen. A smaller joint with traditional and tasteful decorations, this spot easily accommodated my small group. Starting with a delicious boba Thai tea, the tapioca pearls were cooked perfectly and the drink was sweet and prepared very aesthetically. The price for this was low, around 3.00. I very much enjoyed the Ba Bong with beef. Recommended with the house fish sauce and chili sauce, it was light and delicious, full of vegetables to mix in. It was a huge serving as well and very reasonably priced, around 10. And the included egg rolls are legitimately some of the best I’ve ever had. Perhaps the best part of all was Bo Prum, the Cambodian owner, and the amazing server we had, Alli. He made a point to greet us warmly while we were eating and ask us our opinions. Alli was hands-down one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Fun and friendly, she tastefully towed the line between interesting and kind. This is definitely a new favorite here in Gainesville. I will be back to see Bo and Alli!
Thanks to all the other reviewers for steering us here. Don't let the spartan atmosphere fool you, this place makes awesome food. Best egg rolls I've ever had, and they're the only thing there made in advance. Everything else is made fresh to order. The owners are gracious hosts and go out of their way for their guests. Excellent in every way.
One of my best experiences here in Gainesville. Even though the food was delicious and it could have sold itself, the service was what did it for me. Rotana went out of her way to help me upgrade my spring rolls so that I would get the best of both worlds. She was an amazing conversationalist who made you feel welcomed. I can see this amazing energy throughout the whole staff because her dad even came out to have a chat with my friend and I as well. Their skewers and wings were the best too!! Cannot wait to go again!
I ordered the chicken skewer entree for take out. I must say my chicken was not fully cooked which is such a shame given that they didn’t have to rush to complete this order. Maybe appropriately measure the cooking temperature next time. Edit: changed from three to five stars. Very nice customer service from the owner. I thank them for their offer. Please, if you see a person in need, give that meal to them. Much appreciated! I really like their menu and will be reordering! I will ask for slightly more well done chicken if I order again, but everything else was very tasty. Especially loved their tofu.
My favorite order: Beef Skewers w/ rice and extra slaw spring rolls Thai Tea - YUMMMM! The beef is marinated to the heavens that you can taste in every sweet and savory bite, making it my absolute fave. Paired with their homemade slaw and house sauce? LOVE! Topping it off with a refreshing Thai Tea with boba.
