Excellent gym! The staff (Bo and Annie) were extremely helpful and welcoming. The routes were really well set; good moves that flowed well. Their bouldering cave is amazing! If you've never climbed before, this would be a great place to get into the sport.

1. Incredibly overpriced unless you're a member! 2. The owner is a menace? To be fair, he must have been having a bad day, because there's no way he would have any customers or employees if he is always that rude and angry. Actually, the place was nearly empty, so maybe I wasn't the only one he scared off. At least it wasn't crowded. 3. The other employees were very nice, and the walls were fun, but I can only give a one star review after being chased out and cussed at completely unprovoked by an emotionally unstable old man.

Lot's of fun for a good price. The belaying here is absolutely awesome and challenging with really high walls. The bouldering is also pretty cool, with a large cave section on an incline.

Small facility but definitely has potential. A major problem I have is that shirts are required as well as shoes (normal shoes when not climbing) at all times. At no other climbing gym I've been to is that the case. Especially in Florida where it gets hot and muggy in that small space. I was not informed of these rules when I went and besides climbing shoes, only had sneakers so I had to lug my sneakers around the entire gym. I also would've brought a tank top but was stuck with sweltering in a t-shirt. Setting isn't too bad and I like the long tunnel bouldering area. A good range of difficulties throughout the gym as well with most seeming to be in the v4-v5 range. I did not and will never top rope there as long as helmets are required. But I don't forsee ever wanting to top rope there as the top roping walls are all vertical and offer no overhang. Pricing is lower than other places I go but you do get what you pay for.

The gym itself isn't that bad. It's moderately large, but it seemed like there were very few beginner trails, and they weren't very challenging (I'm pretty much a brand new climber), but going up to the next level was quite difficult, anyways, that's just personal experience. The reason my review is so low is because the owner himself was horribly rude. After very little interaction between him and my friend, he actually told us to leave and never come back. My friend speaks very abruptly but he is not rude in any way, this put the owner off though and he became very short with us off the bat. On our way out I sent my friend to the car to grab my shoes because no one mentioned there were a place to put shoes and when he returned the owner came up to us, a very petty altercation ensued and ended with the owner slamming his own business's door like a child and saying never come back. He seemed extremely off. I won't be going back.

A fun climbing gym with a good community in a town with no real rock.
