I am an attorney in Gainesville. one of my clients, a homeless gentleman, was severely injured and I represented him in his claim against the trucking company responsible for his injuries. my client was served by The Way ministry and pastor jerry deyton. as I visited the facility where The Way is located in Gainesville, I was so impressed by the commitment of pastor jerry and his group and how they served the homeless in our area that I made a personal contribution to jerry's ministry. God bless you, jerry, for what you are doing for those who are struggling in our community
Brother Jerry saw the situation I was in and bought me a bus ticket and gave me hope as young as I am he saw hope in me and spent 400.00 on me and gave me a way to get back home and fed me a good meal before I left and also a great message and was an inspiration to me ,I agree these people were the best help you could ever ask for . Made me tear up ,the man didn’t even know who I was and still bought me a bus ticket back home . Thank you again and I am still doing my best to come up with funds to pay you back . Pastor Jerry you are the best ,and i appreciate you being willing to help the homeless and to feed them and also sow the Word of God in (their) our Hearts and to labor so hard and to be willing to be there for people ,it’s because of Pastor Jerry where I’m at today cause he saw a glimpse of hope and gave me a chance and didn’t judge me like some have done me and it takes a real man to help others in need Homeless or not )
Love this place I was homeless for year and they help me so much now I am off the streets
The way is a homeless kitchen we feed the Homeless their breakfast and their lunch Monday through Saturday we give great service to the homeless
