I studied under Sifu Onassis Parungao back in 2005. My focus at the time was Hung Gar, although we did include some Tai Chi exercises. What truly impressed me was the depth of knowledge and understanding that Sifu had about what he was teaching, and his willingness to share it. If you were willing to put in the time and the energy, Onassis would give you as much knowledge and guidance as you could handle. There was a strong focus on understanding where the strength came from in the forms, and why the parts that might have seemed strange were truly important and useful. If you're in the area, I don't think you could find a better instructor.
