If Hallmark is going to refuse to take returns on their clothing/accessories, they should post a sign to that effect. Putting tiny print on the receipt (which you obviously don't get until AFTER purchase) that returns on are not accepted - on sale items or otherwise - stinks (in this case, literally). I purchased a scarf that had apparently been tried on by someone wearing heavy perfume. I did not realize this was the case in the store. I am allergic to perfume. Hallmark would not accept return. Won't be going back to the store.
