I was just in Lander for the 4th. The guys at Gannett Peak Sports were great. They helped me with some bike issues and told me the great places to ride. I would rate them at 5 stars just for that but... I had picked up new brake pads for my bike. When I went to put them on, I found they were the wrong ones...my fault. Unfortunately, it was 30 minutes after they closed when I got to the door. One of the guys finishing up for the day, saw and remember me from the day before. I got the right pads and my bike was ready to ride. That's service!
For bikepackers and long distance cyclists this is a must hit destination. Free beer and ice cream is a draw no doubt, BUT it’s the shop culture that will bring me back. Fantastic employees who love the industry they work in and really know what they’re talking about. It’s a great shop and I highly recommend swinging by.
Gannett Peak Sports is the perfect example of the magic of the biking community! They were so kind and welcoming and gave us great trail recommendations. I messed up my planning and didn't realize when the shop closed to return my rental bike, but they worked with me to ensure that I could get my bike and finish my ride anyways! I can't say enough good things!!
