I went to Home Depot in Kent between noon and 1 on 7/3 to buy 3 junipers. I had parked at the far side of the parking lot. I found the junipers ok, but no shopping carts at the store entrance or the garden center. I stood in line at the garden center until I thought my fingers would fall off from holding the plants. I went to self check out inside. The young woman staffing self check out came right over and offered to scan my plants so I wouldn't have to turn them on their side to run them over the scanner. Then she offered to get me a cart, and did. I have never encountered this kind of customer service at Home Depot. You people need to give that young woman a raise and, BTW, put the damn carts at the entrance, not the exit, of the store.

Loved Of God.

It seems the two major competing hardware stores Home Depot AND the other guys are having a hard time. Ive seen turnover on emplyess take place in the past couple years. It has just gotten bleak. I helped a lady today in the plumbing section find grommets for her garden hose. She told me two different employees told her two different places and neither were correct. I had the same experience a couple months ago, because theyve also changed the location of alot of things in store inventory which used to be mostly the same in every Home Depot. An employee told me locations of two different items that were also wrong. So it wasnt the previous lady's fault. And in regard to other hardware stores..? You may find better service at another store, or even at a different branch as they all seem to vary. Best to you getting in and out quickly, be prepared to go hunting at Home Depot.

Its not bad, big chain home improvent cheap prices. However i go down the street to McLendons to get specialty products or talk to smart asspciates who actually know about home improvements.
