Home Depot used to be a very friendly and customer oriented place to buy stuff. Now today they refused to let me return 2 5.00 splashguards which I had purchased online (as they had 0 in stock in the stores). I had bought 3 and only needed one I just realized. Although they were able to access my order # they said they don't carry item anymore... REALLY, it's a basic home improvement item! SMH Next, I had an e-gift card from Amex. The Cashier entered the number and said I could not use it. No explanation, no nothing... He tried to get a manager without success... So I told him I'd just pay for my things with my credit card and I'd figure it out later. I saw that the line was getting long and did not want to hold things up for him. Earlier in the week I had to return some stuff to Lowes. They were pleasant, polite, and I made my returns with no hassle... Although I had purchased the items in the same time frame and presented them without my receipts. Guess who gets my business exclusively from now on? NOT Home Depot!!!
Nice selection but only one cashier so a long wait to leave.
Over charged for 1 item. The price on shelf lower than they charged. I had to stand in customer service line for 15 min to resolve proce overcharge but they refunded me but most people would not of checked reciept for the upcharge . Check Your Reciepts.

Horrible customer service in the garden department. Incompetent cashier and “manager” tried to tell us computers weren’t working so we had to go all the way inside to check out and then back to pick up our mulch, meanwhile cashier continued to check out other customers after we walked away. Both employees should be fired and I will not be returning. Lowe’s is across the street.
Pretty good selection of plant and other gardening materials.
