I was deeply impressed by the professionalism of Mike, as well as the character and credibility of him and Suzanne. They helped me a lot over the phone, and played and compared different pianos at his store. Mike knows tons of knowledge about piano, I really learned a lot from him. Mike sent me very detailed messages and explained whatever confusions I had. His price is really reasonable as well, they are not the kind of business that only makes money. Piano Shoppe is really a great piano store that you must visit if you want to buy a piano, new or used, in Long Island.

Thank you so much Mike and Suzanne for all your time and help in finding the perfect piano for my two daughters! We are so grateful to have a Baldwin acrosonic Piano from your shop. It is beautiful and the girls LOVE it! The sound is so pretty and they want to play it any chance they get. When our original piano was damaged by a leak from the ceiling above I had called Mike because we were looking for a replacement. MIke talked to me over the phone many times ( a total of 3 hours!! ) and educated me on types of pianos, what to look for in a piano and recommended one from his shop. I had the BEST experience with the Piano Shoppe of Garden City. I am a music teacher, and my Korg Keyboard got knocked over a few weeks ago by accident. One of my students recommended that I call the Piano Shoppe of Garden City. Mike, the owner, answered my call. He told me that he really doesn't service Korgs anymore; however, he was more than happy to take a look for me. I brought my keyboard in that same day, and he had it apart, diagnosed, and repaired within 24 hours. Even better--he didn't charge me a dime for the work he did. I will recommend Mike and the Piano Shoppe of Garden City to anyone who asks me!

They seem knowledgeable and straightforward. I brought them a digital piano I had bought from them almost 20 years ago because two notes stopped sounding. They spent time pulling the piano apart, determined that it was not repairable (parts no longer available) and did not charge me for their time.
