I had a water leak and black mold in a large closet. I called the insurance company and they recommended and scheduled this company to come out and fix the problem. They were supposed to fix the black mold and dry out the water problem. The company showed up, cut out some drywall, carpet and base moulding. They then turned on fans and a humidifier and left it for 4 days. They came and picked up the fans and left. I asked them about the black mold. I was told that in his 6-years of experience, it did not look like black mold to him. I asked him if he was kidding and he said no and then asked me to sign a completion order. I refused and immediately called a second company to come out. The second company sealed the area with black mold, and due to the fact that it was not dry yet, had to dry it out some more. They are then going to remove and treat the wood. All this while being sealed in a closed area. ServPro of Central Garden Grove did not fix our black mold problem, they did not dry out the water completely and they did not seal off the black mold area while they were removing drywall and flooring. To be honest I don't think they really knew what they were doing. Fortunately the second company I hired appears to know what they are doing. Below are photo's of how this company left out house.

I was gone for 2 weeks on a beautiful vacation only to return home to a nightmare a pipe broke inside my wall and lets just say it was horrible stuff growing on the wall, strong mildew smell flooring completely ruined my wife and I were devastated so I started looking into a water restoration company and found serv pro of central garden grove and I spoke to Abel and he sent his crew out immediately to my home to asses the damage and the moment they walked through the door and introduced themselves my wife and I knew we were going to be ok they carried themselves very professionally and were confident in there actions Jacob,josh and Joe were their names and immediately they jumped into action and contained all affected areas they deemed to have mold.they explained each step and action they took .these guys were young but I found them to be knowledgeable and professional they showed great respect for my personal property as they moved it around to work I would definitely recommend serv pro of central garden grove I hope I don't ever have a need for your service again but your card is on my fridge readily available if I do thank you Abel,josh,Jacob and Joe you guys are phenomenal .sincerely a very satisfied customer
