*The star is not based off of seeing the hot springs* I was very sad after seeing so many great reviews, But DO NOT GO UNTIL SUMMER. We made an hour and a half drive and about 4 miles before we reached the destination the road was blocked off by a no 4 wheel drive sign and a huge man made wall of snow, we tried to take a detour but that was blocked off too. Im guessing this is for safety reasons which is understandable and I’m sure it is an amazing place when you actually get to see it but for now I wouldn’t suggest going. There is also no service where the road cuts off so have a back up plan in advance.

Love this place! The views are amazing. You need to cross a river to get to the hot springs. Make sure you wear some kind of water shoes before you cross because you will be stepping in rocks, some are sharp. It's best if you go in pairs while you are crossing the river. The river is very cold, but you will warm up as soon as you get into the several geothermal pools that have varying temperatures.
Nice spot with a couple of smaller pools so if it’s crowded you may have to wait to climb into one of the 2-3 person pools. Parking is right along the road and there’s a steep trail heading down to the river which you have to cross to get to the hot springs. It’s about 2 feet deep in the middle at parts so be careful.
Very easy to get to. So relaxing and a great view!
Horrible place. Don't go there. Lol. This time of year it is a very easy stroll accross the shallow river to a better than average hot springs. 4 pools of various temperatures is a huge plus. They are not large pools but roomy enough.
