The wild eel tempura is perfectly fried. The texture is on par with tempura places in Japan. The popular cold seiro soba has great texture. Also order the monk fish liver and the shrimp roll with plum sauce and shiso leaf. Support this amazing local business.

Where Japanese ex-pats go to eat and drink. Good udon, great soba, good service. The broth was sightly on the strong side but still very good. Great for outdoor seating with outdoor heaters. Warm soup and noodles on a cold night is pretty awesome. Staff spoke Japanese, most of the customers spoke Japanese. Curious what the Thursday/weekend menu is like, next time.

Easily my favorite pork cutlet/soba/udon in town! I highly recommend you exploring their menu. Tasty dishes aside, I appreciate the amount of care they put into the take-out packaging. uncooked noodles upon request, everything carefully packaged so that you can enjoy it at home.

Great fresh Japanese food, good service and prices. Casual and busy an a Monday lunch. Very fresh!!!tuna, loved the sea Eel tempura and loved the fresh soba.

Great place to eat Japanese food. Very nice staff. Low key but very good food. Try to visit. You will not get disappointed. Limited parking at the back but street parking is available. Drove 10 miles from LAX just to experience their food. No regrets.
