Great vantage point of the battlefield. Ken, our parker ranger guide, was excellent.
This is a very beautiful spot the view is very good they say it's one of the only places you could see the battle of pea ridge from both fronts as the spot is high and you can see the mountain behind the trees depending on when you go if you are in the area I would highly recommend.
Pea Ridge Military Park is always interesting, if not a little sad considering the lives that were lost, and a good hike.
