I've bought a couple of boats over the years here. Both times, I have been treated well and gotten good advice while looking at different models. It gives me piece of mind knowing that if I poke a hole in my boat out on the river, that these folks will take care of the repair for the life of the boat. Even in the middle of the pandemic, when no one had kayaks, these folks still had enough coming in to be able to sell.

A good-sized shop that specializes in kayaks, a kayak repair, and all the needed accessories and equipment. During Covid, they were one of the few places in the area that were getting regular shipments of kayaks and gear. They typically have a broad range of kayaks, a huge selection of paddles and kayak-specific life jackets, and can help with just about any repair or customization you need help with. They stock everything from the big seat-on-top fishing rigs, traditional stunt and touring kayaks, to high end inflatables. I first heard about them when my son and I went to a demo day, where they brought something like 100 kayaks to a nearby lake (Bella Vista area), and you could try out any of them. My son had been interested in a kayak for a while, but being able to try a lot of them really helped him narrow down what he wanted. I think they do this annually. You may find more cheap stuff at one of the athletic big box stores, but when you’re ready for quality gear that is custom tailored to your needs, this is worth the drive.

Jessica and Mark were extraordinary! They were both extremely helpful. Jessica held the kayaks for us to purchase after we got off from work. We got two Wilderness Systems Tarpon 105s, one breeze blue and one galaxy. We also got paddles and a truck bed extender. Mark entirely setup the Yakima truck bed extender so when we pulled in we were ready to load up and go kayaking that same evening. It was absolutely some of the best customer service we've ever been given. OMTC also offers free hull repair if the kayaks ever get damaged, nice for a little peace of mind when making the purchase. We will definitely be back!

This is a great local business. Their team was helpful and enthusiastic about kayaking. Answered tons of questions, shared their own experiences with the boats, and were great to deal with. My wife and I each bought a kayak for fishing and recreation. Highly recommend OMTC. Spending several nights a week out on the Bella Vista lakes now and it is great.
