I have been a member of Gloria Dei since its beginning. This is and has always been a welcoming family. I love that it is all inclusive, including our doggie members too. Music is uplifting. Sermans thoughtful.

As with visiting any church for the first time, it can be a rather awkward experience. As I entered the church, there was a man handing out bulletins. He made eye contact with me but acted like he didn't want to give me one. He eventually did. I sat down and a nice couple introduced themselves and welcomed me. I enjoyed the sermon but the minister did not seem to connect with the people after the service. I passed on communion as I was unsure if visitors could participate. As I left the church, an elderly lady welcomed me. I signed the guest book but received nothing acknowledging my visit. I probably will not return. This church seemed to be a little on the insular side.
