Went for a visit and the doctor didn’t seem like he cared and forgot to cancel second visit and first time ever, I am billed 35 for a missed visit. I guess this place is very busy, so they charge you to compensate for losing that time spot LOL.

I've suffered from \hammer-toes\ since my childhood, the symptoms caused both by wearing too-small shoes as a growing child and later in life by wearing \fashionable shoes\ that had ill-designed toe-boxes. The result was horribly-disfigured toes and pain in everything from walking to working in the yard to simply standing. My primary care physician referred me to Dr. Scott Smith at Metroplex and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Smith Immediately recognized my issues and recommended a plan of action to correct those problems. I am now pain-free and even comfortable in wearing open-toed sandals in the summer! Dr. Smith is clearly well-educated in his chosen field but, more importantly to me, has an exceptional bedside manner to communicate that education in a way that's easily-understood by the layperson. He possesses a tremendous disposition regardless of the other challenges of his day, and his staff emulates his positive attitudes in making their patients feel welcome, comfortable and confident in the results. I've left reviews of Dr. Smith's efforts and staff in his other two locations in Richardson and Dallas - this one gets only 4 stars due to the dated condition of the Garland facilities. Other than that, the staff and professionalism, and quality of service, remain consistent with my other 5-star reviews! Thanks, Dr. Smith, for your outstanding service and attention!

I have been going to see Dr. Abigail for 4 years now & wouldn’t dream of going to anyone else. When I hurt my ankle 6 years ago the doctors around me had a waiting list. So found Dr. Abigail on a search with my insurance & got in the next day. 2 years ago I hurt my ankle again playing basketball & again I was able to get in fast. This year I did it again & need surgery. I had my surgery on Friday the next day Saturday I was having some bleeding & call the doctor who gave me his number & he came in on a Saturday to check me out. It was normal & nothing I needed to worried about but the fact the Dr. Abigail came in on a Saturday instead of telling me to watch it or go to the ER means he really cares about his patients. The office staff has been so nice & helpful. I think the most I’ve waited for my appointment is 10 minutes. I highly recommend this place & especially Dr. Abigail.

Dr. Tiwari is the WORSET doctor you could go too. Horrible bedside manners, tells you one thing at one appointment, and then tells you something completely different the next. Refuses to give doctor notes unless you’ve had surgery with her. Even after an injection and having a bad reaction to it. I was told by her to suck it up and deal with it. Dr. Tiwari was the only podiatrist in my insurance network who’s accepting new patients. After these experiences with her, Ill have to self-pay somewhere else. Do not go see her.

I made an appointment because I was experiencing foot pain. I was able to get an appointment within a day which was nice. I saw Dr. Tiwari and she diagnosed me with Gout. I questioned the diagnosis because I don't eat much red meat and no fish or drink alcohol. They did x-rays, gave me a boot, blood work ordered and prescriptions and I went on my way, scheduled to return the next week. My foot got better with the medication but one of them caused blood vessel problems so I stopped taking it after 1 day. At the follow up exam, after reviewing my blood work and symptoms, she changed the diagnosis to cellulitis. She shook my hand and immediately left the exam room. I'm thankful for the misdiagnosis but she was very rude when she realized she made a mistake. I tried to get my money back on the boot as I only wore it from the exam room out to my car, maybe for 50 feet and they have not done anything to make this better.
