I do my best to shop locally despite the higher prices. I recently bought a storm door. I presented the dimensions however the door was ordered at stock width regardless and I was assured that ALL house doors came the same width. I paid for the door just to find out it didn't fit. When i tried to return or exchange the door that same day I was told no. Because the box was already opened.. I am a first time home owner with a young family and certainly have never bought a door before. we are now down 250 dollars with a door that wont fit, with little to no sympathy from management because the BOX was opened. never mind the perfect condition of the door itself..This small business will NOT be getting business from me. And i warn anyone making a large purchase to cover all their bases first and never assume that the employees know what they are talking about. Because they obviously do not.
