I had enjoy the massages by Jovial until the closer out for the Pandemia! I had cancel my membership once the year was complete ! They moved the membership to accommodate the closed months but they did not cancel my membership as requested and today I was charged again! Claiming I did not signed the request which they purposely omitted to mention BE AWARE ITS NOT JUST A PHONE CALL IF YOU WANT RO CANCEL THEY ARE THEFTS IM DISPUTING CHARGES

Nicole I am a new member of the New Jersey community. I have also been a member of massage envy for 2 years. Since I have moved from Boston I started going into the Garwood location and I did not have a good experience. My friend had requested a service to be paid on her behalf and the massage envy manager, Nicole put it on my card when I did not authorize the charge. She was also very rude in her customer service. I was not greeted when walking in or spoken to in a professional matter. The day I went in to get serviced and called to confront the unauthorized charge I was told it would be taken off, but the next day she, nicole told me she wouldnt take it off. This has caused me to cancel my membership. This location does not value the customer experience.

Charged my deceased mother for months of services after her death and during the time the location wasn't even open for business due to Covid. They keep saying they will refund the money but it's been 5 months and they still have not done so. Corporate Office is useless as well. They have done NOTHING either although I've communicated with them over and over. Guess Massage Envy is fine taking money from deceased members. Disgusting. I hope you consider going to another massage group. These people are thieves.

Sadly, I was attended to by a sick massage therapist who coughed on me through the entire session. When I asked the front desk, their response was they were aware of the sick employee-- and there was nothing they could do about it due to regulations. Even if that were the case (which I doubt) giving the client notice and the option not to be exposed to sick employees for 90 minutes in close space where they are skin on skin touching seems like a fair policy. They then asked if I wanted to schedule another appointment. I said absolutely not and left. The next month I got a bill for the next month. Flabbergasted I called the front desk. Filled out and signed a form to cancel. And mentioned the above in their survey. Surprise surprise I haven't gotten the credit back for the massage I didn't schedule-- and management hasn't responded. I rarely write a negative review of a small business, but, besides the poor response to an unhappy customer, this is a health hazard at the city/state level and this chain of locations should lose its license to operate a facility like this. If you don't believe me just call the Massage Envy front desk and ask what their policy is. I am never going back to this illness spreading and inconsiderate establishment.
