The cabin we rented was absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The view is spectacular. The only problem was the Hot Water seemed to run out very quickly. Other than that we loved it.

This was the best family vacation I've ever had. What a great find! About the Smokies found the perfect cabin for our family of 4. The cabin was Immaculate and words can't even begin to describe the beautiful view of the Smoky Mountains that we had. It was breathtaking. The cabin was beautiful and had all of the amenities that you would possibly need. Having a glass of wine while in the hot tub looking out at that amazing view was just perfect. The people at about the Smokies were very pleasant to work with. The few small issues and questions that we had were handled immediately. We couldn't get the down stairs gas fireplace on and they had someone out within a few hours to relight the pilot. The people in the office and the maintenance people were all extremely friendly, helpful and hospitable. I would highly recommend About the Smokies and their cabin rentals. I know I will gladly go through them again, and hope to go back to that same exact amazing cabin. See the amazing view below that we were blessed to see every day from our wrap around deck of our lovely cabin.
If I could give 0 stars I would. My family and I stayed here for Christmas in hopes of a white Christmas. We stayed December 20th-27th. On Christmas Eve, December, 24th, the power went out and and was never restored for our entire stay. We eventually were able to leave the cabin on December 26th and had to get a hotel. We were never offered any type of credit or reimbursement of any sort even though the power was out for 3 days and we left a day early!!! The lady who runs the place treats you like you are just another contract. I tried to work with her and even asked just for reimbursement for the night of my hotel, but was given the run around for days. I finally got an actual answer today, which was I am sticking to what my contract states. I can post the text messages of her responses to my questions, they would make you sick. If you want a pleasant experience and be taken care of if something was to happen please go somewhere else. As she stated, she is not the Hilton so do not expect the customer service or experience that you would staying at a Hilton. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!
