I purchased my computer from Best Buy less than a year ago with that I also purchased Geek Squad protection. Since this time i purchased the computer I have had several things that needed to be repaired. Less than 3 months into owning my computer my speaker was blown. Fast forward not even 7 months later my camera and earphone jack were broken. With all these problems already happening in less that a year and having a warranty my expectation was that they would replace the computer. This did not happen. I have continually had to send it in for repairs. This last time that I had to send it in working with Geek Squad chat to even have it looked at in order to get it repaired was a nightmare. Which was really disappointing because Best Buy has been a reputable company in the past.
Was not told about auto-renew policy until the day I was already charged. (a year later)
Went in with a working fine phone and a cracked screen. Came out with a phone that randomly shuts off and turns back on with battery that reads at 0%. After a remote diagnosis by Apple who scheduled another appointment they didn’t even want to look at it. Looks fine! My phone is pretty worthless now. They should call it the haughty but useless squad. No solutions and terrible service. They made my problems worse
They cannot solve anything that you cannot solve by yourself if you have the slightest idea what you are doing. They do not care beyond basic diagnostics and repairs. And they will take your money in the process to tell you what you already know. So I love Best Buy, but Geek Squad is their biggest scam. Please don't go there unless you have warranty or a replacement plan.

I called and asked about service to my Samsung 65" TV that was purchased from Best Buy. I was told that they do not service televisions, even though the menu specifically asked me about servicing televisions. Agent Brown told me that if I did not have a protection plan then they "could not come out."
So nice and professional. They know what they're doing.
