This place is so unique for a quality BBQ joint. For starters, it’s obvious that the customer is cooking the food. Don’t let this draw you away. It’s such a fun experience and the food is fantastic. This is a great date night spot or to bring friends that are visiting the island.
Great food and great customer service! I highly recommend this location over the Ala Moana location! I didn't get the server's names but they all were awesome! From the hostess to the wait staff!
First time eating Korean bbq and it was pretty good. The peach soju was really tasty too.
This is my first time eating at this restaurant but I'm very pleased with my meal. The place was pretty packed when I arrived, I had about an hour wait until I was shown to my table. Granted, it was a Saturday night, so I didn't mind very much. The servers make sure you feel welcome there and check in on you every 8 minutes or so. Since the place was packed, they did mess up some of my orders, but I didn't mind that either since I understood how hard they were working. The staff are very kind and will make sure that your every need is paid attention to. Moving on, the actual food was very good. You'll order what meats you want and they'll give you seasoned meats that you get to cook yourself over a hot plate. The beef bulgogi and chicken was extremely tender, the meat was very easy to chew and was bursting with flavor. They'll provide you with sauce as well that enhances the flavor of the meat, making it taste even better than it is. If you're reading this during the pandemic, they are taking many precautions to make sure that you are safe and unable to contract the virus.
Awesome service The workers made sure we had everything filled from the meats to.the sides to the drinks. Price was very reasonable for lunch. Definitely will be back

Went here for the first time with 2 of my friends and it was FANTASTIC! The staff was so wonderful, very friendly, great attention to safety and explained how everything there worked since we've never been there (or anywhere like it) before. They had us seated quickly despite being fairly busy. They were also very attentive and changed out the grill plate regularly. Stay Awesome Gen Korean BBQ House!! You're amazing!
