I did a UX part time course here. It's extremely overpriced (at 4,000) with super basic learning - Udemy or Youtube can provide the same level of learning. Employers do not value certifications from General Assembly any more than a random online certificate. You are better off finding an accredited institution that offers courses or continued learning certificates at about the same cost but with much more value to your resume. Wish I had known this before.

Excellent school. Everyone was so approachable and worked as a family. In three months I learned more than in a whole year at a regular college.
General assembly offers a great bootcamp, if you'd like to learn the basics as quickly as possible. But their promises of turning you into a full-fledged developer is deceitful at best. Because of this, they've been accused of posing as a legitimate educational outlet. Like many other bootcamps, GA has also been known to pad their job placement statistics. Among the top 15 coding schools in SF, general assembly is rated the 2nd worst coding bootcamp according to switchup. But don't take my word for it, do your own research
Great space for town hall meetings and inspiring conversations
