I've been to a lot of rinks. Ours is not the worst, but it is not the best. The NHL rink is much nicer. Could use some fresh glass, but seating is plentiful, lots of bathrooms, not freezing, sounds is good, scoreboard is visible. Locker rooms could use a little love. INTL rink is another story. Needs new glass, needs new scoreboards, has very limited seating. But it is warmer usually ;) So that's good... Overall, not a bad place for hockey games, practice or a Steel game.

My daughter takes ice skating lessons here and we regularly go to ‘public skate’. The staff are friendly and the arena is well maintained. You can rent figure or hockey skates if you don’t have any. I’d recommend going about 15 minutes before public skate starts because the line can get a little long (moves pretty fast). Watch out taking a new skater during the day to public skate (during school holidays) ... LOTS of experienced teenage skaters that are generally inconsiderate of the little ones.
Love the classes, teacher, coaches. Great programs and safety protocols!

Although I haven't tested everything in the building, I've been to the ice rinks, and I'd say that their in great condition.
Nice first class NHL arena! Im thinking i havta go watch some Chicago Steel games there!
