In February of 2020, I contacted George's Clock Shop to repair my grandfather clock that had been damaged in a move. George came out and was very professional. It was very obvious he knows what he's talking about. Covid hit in March. Finally, I ordered the parts and re-contacted George in September and he told me he put me on the service list and that it would be about 4-6 weeks. No call from George. I contacted him again in October 2020, George said my name was on the list and it would be about two weeks. No call from George to finish the repair. I sent him a letter in November telling him that I am a single mom, I don't get child support from my ex, and I am am an essential front line healthcare worker at a local hospital. I nicely asked him to call me to schedule to complete the repair. As of January 5th 2021, I have not heard from George. I have no idea why he will not return to complete the service call. Needless to say, I am disappointed, especially after reading all the posted positive reviews. Now, I will have to have call someone else to finish the repair and shell out more money. Update: 1/7/21: George contacted me to schedule a service call for 1/18/20. George came out on 1/18/21 to work on my clock. Unfortunately, the screws needed were not shipped with the part. We had to contact the salesperson to figure out what size screw was needed. We were able to get the screw from the hardware store. The clock stopped working because of an issue with the seconds hand. George helped me troubleshoot the issue over the phone. He's been very responsive to addressing my concerns and returning my phone calls.

George responded to our phone call and was able to make a house call within just a day. Showed up when he said he would, went quickly to work, and got the job done effectively and efficiently. Couldn't ask for more!!
George recently serviced my grandfather & cuckoo clocks. He is very knowledgeable and did a great job on both clocks. Quality work and reasonably priced.
